The food from this restaurant is getting from mediocre to bad. Been a long time diner at GYMT, but the tomato soup is awfully bland, watery (even with the help of beaten egg), beef was tough and the vegetable is under cooked. There wasn’t a long queue when I was dining in so why wouldn’t the cook put more effort into the making? Please review your cook and their standards Service N/A

First time trying and will not be my last. Mala soup is super good, tomato may be skipped though. Beware of taking too much on your first visit as the bill may come up expensive. Even after reducing my portion to $14 with noodles, it was too much for me. So i would estimate a good amount for 1 to be less than $14. Ingredient especially meat looked fresh when i was there.

Is ridiculous that they don't allow me to get an extra empty bowl. A super simple request that dont cost them a single cent also cannot fulfill. Also request to put the fried items into another small bowl also cannot. They Have to put the fried items in the soup to make it soggy. Staff said management will scold them if they put the fried items in another bowl. What type of management is that. Ridiculous to the max.

1. They mixed up the orders (1 non-spicy dry 1 xiao la soup) even though order sheet was pegged correctly. 2. They put the egg in the wrong order (in soup instead of dry) . 3. Had to chase them for the egg chives dumpling and it came soggy and broken. 4. Seaweed chicken which was supposed to be fried was still icy cold and frozen in the center. 5. Gave coke instead of coke zero which was on the order sheet as well. Give credit where it is due, shop tried to rectify their mistakes. Shop was not that busy as it was about 7pm already. Would expect that all gongyuan mala have the same standard throughout all the outlet. But I guess not.

The soup is delicious and very nutritious but the glare from the sun is very irritating and uncomfortable. A wide variety of ingredients to choose from and has a very unique taste compared to traditional Yong Tau Foo. Have a large range of soups to choose from to cater to different taste buds. Staffs were wearing hair nets and masks and gloves and this adheres to food hygiene protocol. This is however a self service outlet where you have to help yourself to the soup at the counter. A good experience.
