The food here is excellent! Their tomato eggs and cauliflower dishes, I will always come back for these! When there are more people eating, their mala fish is worth sharing together 😊👍

Excellent, Authentic Hunan Cuisine. I just had lunch with my younger daughter this afternoon at this beautiful restaurant. The food was marvelous and the beer was enchanting at below Kopitiams' prices. Service was fantastic with the owner remembering my taste preferences despite the fact that I last visited the restaurant more than 15 months ago. I just made a reservation for 14-18 persons for a family of gathering in May. My younger daughter and myself spent more than 10 years in Shanghai and the food reminded us of the wonderful experience we had in China. Thanks 🙏🙏 🙏 Back today, May 18th for a family gathering of 18 pax. The food is just marvelous. And the total bill is only SGD 512. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. Thanks 👍

Decent place for some great Hunan cuisine. Prices are typically higher than most authentic China restaurants but the ambience and cleanness of the place makes up for it.

Love the food here, the seafood here was super delicious and fresh. I personally recommend the fish hot pot and the shrimp it was flavourful and refreshing. The price was expensive but delicious. bbq tofu was a disappointment too hard to chew.

Nice beef pork and lamb kebabs with bucket rice of various meats. If you like Hunan cuisine and don’t mind spicy give this a try.

Very very yummy! Bosses here are friendly and nice! Food standard is always there. Reasonable price and food portion

friend couple bought 7pax dinner @ 老长沙 the 小吃 - pigs ears, cloud fungus, century eggs were good standard the skewers (kushiyaki 串烧）- lamb was very good, beef a bit tough..flavouring was good..I generally do not like 孜然牛肉becos the cumin is too heavy..this one the flavouring was good👍 the mushroom skewers with loads of garlic dry good 👍 the belly pork skewers can skip..very tough not done well the eggplant, pork with peppers (a popular human dish), 干锅菜花cauliflowers and liver all good standard the signature 压轴 石锅酸菜鱼 uses whole garoupa fish..soup still tasty but taste wise cannot compare with most 酸菜鱼in China or the couple good 湖南菜in Singapore (now China & good Singapore restaurants standard quite matching). restaurants in China mostly use live 黑鱼（toman or snakehead) and nicely fillet the dining experts quite different with a tasty soup and nice smooth easy-to-eat toman fillet so this preparation would not be my choice of 酸菜鱼even tough it is garoupa unless it is just fillet with head and bones just as stock not served but that would be expensive

Food: 4star Service between 3.5-4 star Its a small shop in TaiSeng18 area with only 2 service staff. We reserved a table and the lady boss asked if we want to pre-order so they can get the ingredients prepared and cooked while we arrived. I thought its a nice proactive gesture from her. However when we arrived, they cant cope with the serivce. There were about 6-8 tables including us, a table of 12. They were so short-handed till the beers were not uncapped, we were give the tool and told to open and pour ourselves. Food wise, the 辣子鸡was good, crispy but some were purely skin or flour. Organic califlower 有机花菜 was my favourite but portion was small for 4-6pax, it felt the portion is goof for 2. 刀拍黄瓜 手撕包菜 - this was oily n veg was under cooked. 干捞粉丝煲 - not something i would order again. 香煎海鲈鱼 - this fish was good, though abit too oily 👍 蒜香小排 - nothing fantastic and it was too small and not mych meat 香爆大虾 - prawns were small, shell stick to the meat, i guessed they are not freshed n tasted so-so chicken wings - nothing fantastic too frog legs - my frens said its nice but i find it very oily grilled lamb skew Braised Beef Basket 红烧肉 酒鸭

Chili chicken and cauliflower tasted good but a bit too salty for us. Very warm service. Lively atmosphere. Daily lunch special is only $5.80. It tastes good although the portion is a bit small.

5 stars 🤩 Everything was perfect for what we ordered. The most prominent feature was that every dish that touches their frying pan is filled with super strong wok hei!
