I ordered the Yong Tau Fu with Kolo Mee, but it didn’t quite meet expectations. The Yong Tau Fu pieces were quite fragile and fell apart when I took them out of the soup, which made the dish a bit messy. The Kolo Mee was an extra $1.2 add-on, but the overall combo didn’t wow me in flavor or texture.
Additionally, the order took longer than expected to arrive, and the soup base was quite plain—lacking the depth of flavor I usually enjoy in Yong Tau Fu.

My vegetarian friend brought me here for lunch, and I ordered the chef-recommended Laksa. My friend found the Laksa good, but I am not used to vegetarian food and would prefer the regular Laksa. To be fair to the restaurant, this rating is based on my vegetarian friend’s review.

Delicious vegetarian noodle and rice dishes at reasonable prices.
Mee hoon kueh was delicious and filling. It included vegetarian fish which was flavoured beancurd with seaweed, mushroom balls, vegetarian fried anchovies, egg, mani chye and mee hoon.
Mala xiang guo was also delicious. You can choose mild, medium or extra spicy. It was a pick and mix of various vegetables and vegetarian ingredients by yourself into a big bowl. The cashier would then weigh the bowl of ingredients and charge by weight. Min order is $10 for 300 grams. The cashier informed me of the cost and confirmed if I am ok with the cost before charging. It comes with a selection of rice or various noodles.
It was not crowded on a weekday evening. Seating was comfortable.

One of the two vegetarian spots I patronized when I was working at Taiseng. The location made this place a convenient spot to access being located on top of one of the MRT Exits and that the place was sheltered and air-conditioned.
Not heavily crowded and lightly furnished, the crowd in this eatery’s quite disciplined - there’s no table hogging and diners come and go as soon as they’ve completed their meals. I always leave the place feeling full, satisfied and relaxed.
Brought my pals over for a due dinner session and they were decidedly delighted that the atmosphere here was great. Staff was friendly, place airy and casual. These were some of the many compliments they gave to the area.
Left a 4/5 stars for the food as while the food was decent, I was on a strict diet that excluded mushrooms and beans and I found little choices here. Nevertheless, I like the place for their minimal use of deep fried mock-meat items in substitute for real meal items in a lot of vegetarian establishments.

Walked pass this restaurant many times. It is actually located on the center of the ground floor just beside huggs.
It is definitely a cosy area to have a meal. Seldom come across vegetarian selling mapo bean curbs, thus ordered. The mapo doufu with noodles is OK, but the vegetables and the Thai Sweet and Sour Chicken taste better. The serving is really good, you will be full when you finish the drink. It will be good if set meals come with some soup.
The varieties are plentiful, the price is consider ok for the location. Will visit again.

The overall is ok if you wanna have a vegetarian meal that fix your hunger.
Yong Tau Foo was very normal to my taste bud. The soup and sauce can be better.
The service staffs were excellent but the mall air con is really 不给力 😂

I recently dined at the Veggie House Vegetarian @ 18 Tai Seng and tried their Laksa and dry noodles. The Laksa was simply delightful – rich, flavorful, and packed with the right amount of spices. It had a perfect balance of coconut creaminess and a hint of heat. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the overall experience was quite satisfying. Must try!

Place was hot without much aircon, food was terrible. Was there for the YTF but the mee was too soggy, chicken KFC wasn’t the same as the picture, turns out to be some cheapskate chicken mock meat which taste bad. Ordered curry with french loaf too and was disappointed that the curry was so diluted.

I recently discovered Veggie House at 18 Tai Seng, and I'm so glad I did! The Yong Tau Fu I ordered was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The portion was generous, and the price of $8.50 was incredibly reasonable.
What truly made my experience stand out was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Their warm smiles and welcoming demeanor added to the cozy atmosphere.
My only minor complaint was that the place was a bit warm, but that's a small price to pay for such an excellent dining experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Veggie House to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying vegetarian meal. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes
