Food is not bad, just that waiting time can be improved. Wait for 20min despite only a few people. Ok to me as consider new place and employees. They served me extra drinks to compensate the one that I ordered which was unavailable. Nice gesture and fair price point. Don’t compare to Japan standard, it’s nice enough for asian market 👍🏼

Very pleasant experience with staffs and food. Food was great, sauce is generous which is very important. Takeout experience also smooth and polite service. Tried their matcha latte, was good. Thumbs up to this branch!

Lovely bowl of gyudon and what’s more it’s affordable. Ideal for people who is looking for a cheap fix.
Added onsen egg but the egg came served cold 🤪. Nevertheless the portion is really big and the beef slices were really tasty. Would definitely visit again for more.

Good and quiet Sukiya outlet. Food arrived very quickly.

I like the low carb gyudon, which has tofu as base rather than rice.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable.
Self order with QR code.
Great value for money.

Ordered takeaway, really tasty. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Most importantly the staffs are really nice and friendly, greeted me when I walk in, so different from other outlets. Keep it up, will be back again!!

Standard is pretty same as the rest of the outlets, beef is in thin slices being tender and easy to eat.
However this outlet is quite spacious, it's also cleaner and air is much fresher with better ventilation. They do also have a section of solo bar counter seats.
This outlet is bigger then other outlets, very quiet during weekdays especially during off peak hours.

My 1st time to this outlet at about 3pm on 15 May’25 I was impressed by the good service the staff greeted me when entered & end my meal 🥘 🍽️ it was a great experience & most comfortable restaurant as compared to the rest perhaps it’s spaciest you sit and amazing speed ordered & service just 2 mins the fastest speed I ever experienced! I will definitely bring my colleagues & friend to visit here thank you! Just nice I have being listening to the interesting staff briefing standard of cooking by chief chef 👨🍳 fantastic steps & procedures!

Had the $6.90 value meal with a good portion of green veges, good miso soup and tea. Pickled ginger on the side. Loved it!

An unplanned good find! Originally wanted to have ramen for lunch, but they were closed for lunch service. Ended up at Sukiya Gyudon and it did not disappoint! Liked the flavours of the different bowls we got and a medium-sized bowl was more than enough to fill our stomachs. Gonna be one of our go-to places at 18 Tai Seng!

We’ve been wanting to try a bowl of Sukiya Gyudon for a long time but never got any chance until now. We chose to visit this place at 18 Tai Seng on a Saturday afternoon because it’s larger and seems to be less crowded. The gyudon dishes are super good. Tried both the plain dashi-based one and the one with curry sauce. Chicken karaage is surprisingly good as well. The value for money is simply excellent. The bowl with unagi is a bit more pricey but I think it’s worth it. They’ll serve you tea when you arrive and ordering plus payment is done by app using QR code. The staff are friendly and the food is served very quickly. The tables are small but the place is bright and cozy with background music that’s not too loud. For takeaway, there are self-service kiosks for people to place the orders. For gyudon, it will be hard to compete with this chain of restaurants. They have figured out how to maximise value for their customers. We will be a regular from now on.

Finished a small bowl of kimchi gyudon, taste great and good amount of sauce for me. Environment also not too crowded on a P.H. I like coming here for the ambience and food. Service here is also friendly 👍🏻

I visited this new outlet 2 days in a row to eat their food.
4 stars given so that there can be consistency and improvement:
1. Miso soup 3/4 bowl on my first visit and half a bowl on my second visit which was changed after I alerted the service crew
2. Was given a complimentary ice cream on my second visit
Overall a decent place for a fast meal even with the solo counter seats which had a hook underneath the table top which reminded me of the experience in Japan dining. People should not hog seats with their bags. Have the courtesy to free up the seat for another deserving diner, ok! The business will be around if everyone is considerate.
Good that the crew helped to allocate seats.
Thank you!

It's a new Sukiya branch in Tai Seng, which opened on June 6th, and I was thoroughly impressed! This location used to be a Hawker Chan, but now it feels like you've been transported straight to Shibuya as soon as you step in. The ambiance is vibrant with JRock music playing, and the extremely friendly staff greet you with a cheerful "Irrashaimase" upon entering.
The food is fantastic and offers great value for money. The Gyudon, priced at just $4.9, is a winner, and the Uji Matcha Latte for $4.5 is a perfect complement. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is a highly recommended stop if you find yourself in the Tai Seng area.
Pro Tip: Don't miss out on the complimentary glass of tea they offer. It's a nice touch that makes the dining experience even better!

Tldr just another great Sukiya outlet in Singapore. Prompt service, delicious food.
Opening in a busy work area, this outlet will constantly have people coming in. But being spacious, quick service to bring food and ease of ordering will make it easy to keep coming here.
Had the curry set, not a lot of karaage but it was still piping hot and quick serving to table, much appreciated.
